Pursuing a doctorate is an exciting time—but it also presents unique challenges when it comes to balancing research, family, and daily life.
The Center for Graduate Studies (CGS) and the Family Office at the University of Wuppertal would like to jointly create an open and supportive space where doctoral students with children can meet, exchange ideas, and network.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in K.12.27 (right next to the Family Office). Over a cup of tea or coffee, Maria Gierth and Julian Hanebeck will present the services available to parents at the University of Wuppertal and answer questions. Your ideas and suggestions are also welcome. Feel free to bring your child(ren) along!
