2022 Winter International Student Experince (WISE) Program

The 2022 Winter International Student Experience is a unique program specifically designed for students who are interested in learning more about Korea’s history, culture, and language. It is a three-week program that will take place entirely online from January 10 to January 28, 2022. It will consist of Korean language, history, and culture courses that will provide an excellent chance for your university’s students to deepen their studies and explore their interests from the safety and comfort of home.
The program is credit-bearing and we will issue transcripts to those who complete it. Student can take between 1 and 2 credits which are 15 to 30 hours; that is 1 to 2 hours a day for 15 days.
We are providing this program tuition free. There is only a 10,000 KRW (8.50 USD/7.50 Euro) application fee, which we are willing to waive if 20 or more students participate from your university.
To register, please send your information to wiseoffice@skku.edu using the Excel spreadsheet by December 20th. The students nominated on the excel will be exempt from sending us their Certificate of Enrollment, and if the number exceeds 20 their application fee as well.
Upon receiving the nomination, we will guide the students to course registration process. The students can register for courses from December 6th to 24th. We will send the necessary information directly to them after they are registered for the program.
