Kathrin Bischoff was born on August 10th, 1988 in Cologne. After receiving her German Abitur, she studied International Business at Maastricht University (Bachelor) and Global Business and Stakeholder Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Master). Kathrin graduated from both studies with distinction. Next to her studies, Kathrin gained first working experience in the fields of sustainability, development cooperation, strategy and consulting in the Netherlands, Australia Mauritius, Ghana and India. Kathrin is currently enrolled as a PhD student and works as a research associate at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics in the area of Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Title: Social Entrepreneurship Education in Developing and Emerging Economies

Abstract: My PhD research investigates social entrepreneurship education in developing and emerging countries. In the literature review, different social entrepreneurship education approaches are analyzed, focusing on barriers to social entrepreneurship education and the role of support systems in addressing such barriers. Primary data is gathered through field research and interviews with different stakeholders.
